Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates is word which shows the combination of words Carbon and Hydrate. Before we discuss the topic Carbohydrates. what is a Carbon? and what is Hydrate? we should understand theses two words because these two words format of the Carbohydrates.
Carbon:
Carbon is chemical element. The word carbon comes from latin word Carbo which mean burnt wood (coal).
